He claims that he did not mistranslate or chose excerpts of The Divine Inexistence maliciously. For those just tuning in, the role of God and the divine in Meillassoux's philosophy is extremely controversial among his followers, as he became popular outside of France before much of the "religious" content of his work become more widely known.
