maybe you could offer a review of the review of Leon for those of us outside the paywall? http://pages.uoregon.edu/koopman/siap/readings/harris_InsurrectionEthics.pdf -dmf
welcome to the dark side, finally lost my own adjunct-access last year and can't really see buying back in, maybe Leon will shed some light on the issue (pardon the pun).
Ah. Well, my current institution doesn't have access, but since I'm moving to a full-time position, maybe they will have access. I'm thinking about querying the author: the Transactions has very generous terms for sharing.
I'll ask Leon: his membership is still good i think.
congrats on your coming position, I would think that Trans would want to try and reach a wider public audience, especially give the general cold shoulder they get in the academy, so it goes I suppose.
They can't. Funding has been an issue for years, even though its the pre-eminent journal of American philosophy. The former editor was my phd director, so I've heard a lot about the problems. The Pluralist, now a SAAP publication, has had worse problems.

DMF, I don't have access. My membership lapsed, and I won't have the money to renew it for months.

ReplyDeletewell I have free access to William James Studies and that's a pretty good bank of authors, choices, choices...
